By submitting content, You're giving J.A. Books
the right to publish the content you've submitted

-Rules-
1 - All Submissions must be made or created by you
2 - Submissions must include the category you're submitting too
3- 3 submissions/titles can be submitted per issue
If you submit more than 3 titles/submissions
then the additional submissions/titles
may appear in a future issue,
4 - English preferred/not required
we do accept content that is in other languages
5 - Submissions must be none purchasable
If your content is not purchasable and no fee is required
to view the content. You will be required to send a link
with your content and where it can be viewed
6 - Comics and cartoon strips can be in black and white or in colour
7 - you must follow the rules and how to submit guidelines
If you don't follow the rules and how to submit guidelines
your content will be declined
R-Rated Content
warnings are required
R-Rated means content with adult materials such as
adult activities - harsh language - nudity/erotica
substance abuse - and intense graphic violence.
A content warning will be required to be sent in with your submissions
If the content includes sensitive subjects and R-Rated Content
your submission may be declined for not including a warning
Submissions are free
J.A. Books magazine does not charge a fee for submissions
-How to Submit-
1 - You can submit by Fill out the form here
2 - You must Include the following
title of the content and Your name
and the category you're submitting to
3 - Content must be included with your submission
If your submission is missing any of the information above
your submission might be declined
if you don't follow the above criteria while submitting your content
then we can't guarantee your content will appear in the issue you're submitting to or future issues,
if your content is better suited for a future issue
then your content may appear in that issue, instead

What To Do after submitting?
Be patient,
After your content has been submitted, you should receive an email saying
'Thank you for submitting, Your content will be reviewed soon
This email is our APPROVAL email
meaning your submission will appear in our upcoming issue
If any changes or detail are required for your submission, we will let you know.
If you haven't received the email, then reach out to us
And we'll let you know if we have received your submission
Make sure your content is finalized before submitting your content
What is sent to us, will appear in the same way we have received it

If you wish to make changes
you can send in a retraction letter for your submission
You must send in a retraction letter, which must include why you are retracting your
submission or to have your content removed
We will then happily review your retract
If you are retracting to send in an updated version
make sure to include the updated version in your letter
Retractions must be sent to us, a week after your content was submitted
Or your content will be published

The total number of pages available for submissions is 60
our Spring magazine is smaller than our other magazines
which means less content will be allowed to be submitted
And some content will not make an appearance
Once the pages available become zero, submissions will close
If available pages are reached before the submission deadline
all submissions will be added to our next issue
All submissions as separated into categories for our Spring submissions
Categories do change

Poetry - Flash Fiction - Short Stories - serial stories - Cartoon Strips - Comics

-Limitations-
Poetry - 15 to 500 words
Flash Fiction - 20 to 1,500 words
Short Story - 1,000 to 7,500 words
Serial Stories - 3,000 to 10,000 words
cartoon strips - 1/2 to 4 pages
Comics - 2 to 10 pages

If your content has more words/pages than listed above
you will be required to separate your content
This means You must include the words
to be continued
at the separation point of your content
Content that's separated may appear in the same issue or in a future issue
If you refuse to separate the content
your content will be declined
We do understand that some stories may not work in sections
but we are limited to how much space can give to each submission
serial stories may also appear in the same issue or in a future issue
