The Children of Poseidon Series
The Stolen Trident

Hi. My name is Tanya. You might be asking yourself, what does a fourteen-year-old girl like myself, know about the world. Well, you might be surprised.
For you to understand, I’ll have to go back to the first time I met Theo. Let’s just say. Theo's pretty much your typical, clumsy loser. But that's all just an act. He’s actually more than all of that.
The first day of classes was fine, I guess. I met a few new people, I'm sure we'll be besties. Kidding. And then there are the teachers. If you want to know how to slice up a monster, then they've got you covered. I mean that literally.
I guess you can say that my first life in Acadia has been quite an adventure, for sure. And I know the rest of my time, will make the rest feel like a piece of cake. Well. I hope. Anyways, on with the story.

Detective Diary of Mary

My name is Mary and this is my story.
I guess you’re wondering what am I doing this diary for. Well, it’s kind of a long story. I decided to make this diary to keep a catalogue of my new adventure.
Unlike some people I know. I went on and beyond. Personally, I wouldn’t call myself a hero. But some people have. I’m just your average girl, watching those who should know better. And with being, such a girl. No one seems to notice me, which gives me a great advantage when it comes to the detective part of my life. But that’s my opinion. You can make up your own. Now let's get things started.
Some strange things are going on in the City of Academy. I’m not sure what’s going on. But something bizarre is differently in the mix. First I got a scholarship at this fancy school, which I could only dream of attending. And now I’m on a train, heading to the City of Academy, where technical advancements happen every day. Saying this city is a marvel of institutions would be generous. Everything is beyond possible here.
You know, being new to the city was a little different for me. I had always lived in the same place. So, I already knew everyone, since I was little. But now, I’m in this giant city. And I know, now on. Talk about, what a surprise. I’m sure that I will miss my family.
But being new here, will differently have its advantages. And I wonder how many friends I will meet. Then I took the big leap and stepped off the train. That’s when I found out just how bizarre the true City of Academy was. I’m not sure what’s going on here. But that little girl who got dragged off by that shade lady, differently gave me some questionable vibes. Now thinking of it. I’m pretty sure she was just abducted in front of me.
With my detective’s hat on. I’m sure that I’ll get to the bottom of it.
